E-Z™ Pool Care Guide
| E-Z™ Pool Spring Opening
| E-Z™ Pool Winterizing
Typically, pools winterized with E-Z Pool™ will be clear when
uncovered with some settled debris on the bottom. Please follow these
easy instructions for the re-opening of these winterized pools:
Re-fill pool to operating level and begin circulating. Continue circulation
24 hrs. a day until restart is completed.
Opening with algae present: (this should be the exception,
not the rule)
Shock with chlorine first at a level that will clean up algae growth.
Generally start with ½ lb. of dichlor per 10,000 gallons.
Wait 24 hours after any chlorine shocking then proceed to instructions
"Opening clear"
Opening clear: (no algae present)
- Balance pool water to acceptable E-Z Pool™ parameters –
pH 7.6,
TA 80-120 ppm., Calcium 350-400 ppm.
- Sequester if metals are present (especially if well water is used
to refill).
- Brush walls and vacuum pool to waste.
Treat with E-Z Pool™ according to regular “Weekly Dosage
Instructions”
and add chlorine puck(s) to skimmer or feeder.
- For optimal season performance, chemically clean filter after the
first
week of operation, since E-Z Pool™ may load a lot of winter debris
into the filter. This step should definitely be taken if algae was present
upon re-opening.
Follow regular weekly maintenance routine. Have a GREAT SUMMER!!!
E-Z Pool™ is formulated for compatibility and use with
traditional sanitizers.
