CAUTION: When winterizing with E-Z Pool™ on any
pool, do not shock with chlorine. Do not winter dose with E-Z Pool™
within 24 hours of any
previous chlorine shocking. The use of chlorine with an E-Z Pool™
winter dose is not helpful or desirable.
- Dose with pre-dissolved E-Z Pool™ according to the chart below
and circulate pool water with pump for a minimum of 30 minutes (longer
circulation is helpful but not necessary).
- Proceed with normal closing routine such as lowering water level,
adding
anti-freeze, covering, etc. No additional chemicals are necessary.

10,000 Gallons 3 – 4 pounds
15,000 Gallons 4 – 5 pounds
20,000 Gallons 5 – 6 pounds
25,000 Gallons 6 – 8 pounds
30,000 Gallons 8 – 10 pounds
35,000 Gallons 10 - 14 pounds
40,000 Gallons 12 - 15 pounds
NOTE: Pools covered with mesh type safety covers should lean toward
the higher doses since they are more prone to algae in the spring.
